He didnt just rap about shit that makes him sound thuggish like alot of rappers that are out now. He will always be remembered for years and years to come. Is he alive still? Who knows. Im a HUGE!!!! gorillaz fan so when i didnt hear about this song i instantly listened to it....the fact that there is a pretty decently put together video even makes it better. Lupe is an amazing MC, and the gorillaz are one of the most influential bands in my eyes. And the fact that they are virtual and have made up histories adds to the creativity of their creator Damon Albarn (Blur). Their 3rd major cd is said to being worked on but there are also rumors that the band is done. Hopefully they arent but if thats so then i guess ill just have to reflect on the good ole demon days.

When An Unstoppable Force Meets An Immovable Object

This is strictyly up to debate by everyone.... Tupac or Biggie? Through my trials and errors of studying the two rap legends i have concluded that although The Notorious B.I.G. seems to be the more liked out of the two, Musically i find more of a liking to Tupac. Although he has grown up around the Black Panthers and is labeled as a racist from everyone i discuss this topic with, he has never openly said that he 1.) Hates white people or 2.) Only has love for African Americans (This is of my own knowledge, if I am wrong the make it a point to let me know). Either way i like listening to more of Tupac's songs more than Biggie's. Its just the way that he puts his thoughts into songs that come as more of an impact to me. Buuuutttttt like i said this is your decision....You Choose.

The Spiraling Downfall Of Rap

It has become a common concern to me on just how much of a joke modern rap/hip-hop is anymore. Due to the openly advertised singlemindedness of everyone nowadays, "Cool" music to listen to is such bull... as lil wayne, soulja boy, christ even the stanky leg (quite possibly one of the most idiotic songs ive ever listened to in my life). Now im expecting the hate to come in since i called lil wayne garbage. although ive heard kids with a third grade education make more sense than the self proclaimed "BEST RAPPER ALIVE" ......really?! you people buy into such crap as this. and i know that the whole blog thing seems to be led by charles hamilton (One of the most inspirational people i havnt had the honor of meeting...yet(im making it a mission of mine)) but the blog scene is a great way to vent.. i like it.
